I don’t know much about people and I don’t care about them. I listen to their meaningless chatter and wonder why men and women waste their time when there is so much science to be done. I am a lonely traveler surrounded by ghosts. The apparitions around me live in a shallow fantasy world while I stand apart from them and look toward the truth that only science can reveal.

My work is my world. Everything else is a distraction. Science is an endless sea and I am an Olympic swimmer, plying across the waves and diving deep into the limitless depths of molecular physics. My feelings used to keep me up at night. Now, I sleep in the arms of my muse, embraced by an intellectual journey that will never end.
