|I live in space, but I am not a spacewoman. I believe in the beauty and efficacy of my plants. I avoid politics. I am suspicious of those like Hunter Logan who put the environment at risk.
I am an extraterrestrial agronomist, an offworld gardener. Every settlement on The Moon, Mars and beyond has a patch of green. I am one of the thousands who tend gardens in places where a bit of grass and a few trees are the only reminders of earth. Gardens complete the cycle of photosynthesis and respiration. People like me keep the gardens alive.
I am in between assignments. I just spent two years in an internship at Jackson Base. The moon has the best offworld gardens in the system. I am hoping for a permanent assignment there, but only time will tell.
